WINNIPEG, MB: The team at King’s Service, a Winnipeg company offering toilet rentals, septic tank cleaning, and septic pumping, attended the WWETT (Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport) Show.

Founded in 1981 as the Liquid Waste Hauler’s Equipment & Trade Show, the WWETT Show is the world’s largest annual trade show for wastewater and environmental service professionals. The show takes place in Indianapolis from February 16 to February 19, 2026. WWETT is not open to the public.

The conference welcomes over 13,500 industry professionals as exhibitors, presenters, and attendees. WWETT offers education programs for contractors to improve their skills and processes, access to companies offering new wastewater management equipment, and much more. The educational component of the show can contribute to continuous education units (CEUs).

This year’s show featured several special events, including a Mardi Gras-themed welcome party, the Young Professionals Awards, the Women of Wastewater Awards, live demonstrations of HammerHead’s Trenchless technology, mixers, and more. This year’s keynote speaker was Justin Faust, who gave a presentation titled “7 Practices of Great Leaders.”

“We were incredibly excited to attend this year’s WWETT Show,” said Steven Moon, President of King’s Service. “We owe our success to our willingness to learn, grow, and adapt as our industry changes. The WWETT Show is one of the best ways to keep our finger on the pulse of the industry, to meet new people, and to find new techniques and technologies that will assist us in maintaining our status as an industry leader in septic services and portable toilet rentals.”

Since 1985, King’s Services has offered portable toilets and septic services to residents of Winnipeg and the surrounding area. Its services include septic tank cleaning, installing septic pump alarms, septic tank sales, portable toilet rentals, portable handwash station rentals, and a variety of plumbing services.

Construction sites in Winnipeg face unique challenges - from harsh weather conditions to strict municipal bylaws and the rising risk of site theft. Whether you are managing a large-scale commercial development in downtown Winnipeg or a residential renovation in Tuxedo, securing your perimeter isn't just a recommendation; it is an operational necessity. In this guide, we break down exactly why temporary fencing is critical for your bottom line and safety record, and how to choose the right solution for your project. What Is Temporary Fencing, And How It Works Temporary fencing, often referred to in the industry as "rent-a-fence" provides a non-permanent, self-supporting perimeter for job sites. Unlike permanent fencing, which requires post holes and concrete footing, often impossible in frozen Manitoba ground, temporary fencing utilizes a modular panel system held together by heavy-duty bases (feet) and clamps. The mechanics of a secure perimeter: Modularity: Panels can be moved and reconfigured as the job site evolves. Stability: High-visibility bases keep the fence upright, while additional wind bracing ensures stability during high-wind events common in the Prairies. Versatility: It serves as a physical barrier, a visual screen, and a liability shield.
