    About the role: the Plumber uses clear and effective communication to assess plumbing situations and offer honest and quality upgrade options that will improve occupants' health and safety.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive company vehicle to attend scheduled plumbing service assignments and ensure the highest quality of service to clients
    • Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
    • Comply with all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the company and at client's home
    • Quote documentation creation and submittal through our sales system
    • Understand post install inspection procedures
    • Maintain good housekeeping of the assigned vehicle, conducting minor repairs, and notifying mechanic and manager of required repairs
    • Always maintain a personal appearance regarding clothing and grooming
    • Operate assigned tablet as per tablet training. Complete all paperwork correctly and on time.
    • Provide any assistance to the team when asked and perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Journeyman /woman or Red Seal Plumbing license an asset
    • Driver abstract and criminal record check required
    • Experience with a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial plumbing services
    • Ability to work with a tablet and software
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, and strong negotiation skills
    • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute daily tasks and urgent matters and work with little or no supervision
    • Own transportation as there is no bus service to our site

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


    Salary: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

    The Opportunity:

    We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our team. This position reports to the Dispatch Supervisor, and is part of our Driver & Dispatch Operations Department. We have a structured training program that includes ride-alongs with drivers as well as training with the sales department to learn our enterprise software. 


    What you’ll be doing:

    • Monitoring trucks on routes using GPS to ensure services are delivered to customers 
    • Monitoring the 2-way radio, phone and computer messaging to respond to driver and customer concerns, as well as questions from other departments in the company
    • Reviewing the week’s routes to ensure drivers are following an efficient path (instead of criss-crossing across the city!)
    • Using your best judgement to make decisions about service delivery options for driver situations
    • Determining capacity of operations for Sales requests
    • Throwing out the plans and directing drivers by the seat of your pants when chaos hits
    • Some daily routine tasks like communicating driver notes to the correct internal department using the software
    • Most of the day you will work with another dispatcher in addition to the multiple people in and out of the dispatch office. There will be a couple hours at the end of the day where you are by yourself once the most active part of the day has died down.
    • Providing help to other members of the team when asked and performing other duties as assigned

    The skills you bring:

    • Advanced computer navigation skills, ability to learn new systems
    • Basic knowledge of Winnipeg streets is considered an asset
    • Ability and drive to pick up the phone and call customers and drivers in order to solve problems
    • Ability to work with Team Members to solve problems
    • ‘Straight shooter’ communication style
    • Highly organized! That is, you love spreadsheets, documentation and colour-coded sticky notes. 
    • Dispatch experience and asset, but not required. It’s trainable!

    The Opportunity:


    We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This position reports to the Sales Supervisor, and is part of our Sales Department. We have a structured training program that includes step-by-step instructions and review in order to learn our enterprise software. Our Customer Service Specialists also get the opportunity to ride along with operators to gain a full understanding of the products and services we offer. 


    Compensation: From $17 per hour


    What you’ll be doing:


    • Receiving incoming and placing outgoing calls
    • Actively listening to customer concerns, providing guidance on our services to suit their needs
    • Accurately booking and entering customer requests and information into our enterprise software
    • Developing new business and service opportunities from existing and new clients
    • Processing customer quotes and following up 
    • Resolving customer complaints or referring more complex problems to your Supervisor
    • Providing help to other members of the team when asked and performing other duties as assigned

    The Opportunity: 


    We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Specialist.  This position reports to the Sales Manager and is an integral role in the Sales Department.  Our Outside Sales Specialist must be extremely driven to grow business as well as themselves while working to gain positive relationships with customers to allow for growth and success across all divisions; Rentals, Septic & Plumbing. 


    Compensation: Salary 50,000-55,000 + commission (negotiable)


    What you will be doing:


    • Visit potential and existing customer locations
    • Develop service opportunities from existing clients
    • Work with Sales Manager to process customer quotes and bid proposals
    • Follow up regularly on prospective opportunities…get the close!!
    • Promote King’s products or services to solve customer needs
    • Work and communicate with all departments to get the job done!
    • The day starts with the team at the office, then out on the road doing site visits

    What Skills you bring:


    • Minimum of one-year sales experience required, CRM experience considered an asset
    • Drive to build relationships and leverage them for results
    • Determination to keep going even when it gets tough. Grit.
    • Must be able to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
    • Critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office or custom databases
