Portable Toilets

Many people organize outdoor weddings for the summer season. Naturally beautiful surroundings and the panorama of the outdoors can definitely enhance your wedding but there will be many commonplace details that cannot be overlooked when organizing the venue. One such mundane consideration is renting portable toilet facilities and properly setting them in place to provide your guests with maximum comfort and convenience.

Sometimes portable toilets can be cramped, dirty, smelly and dark. Having to use such facilities can leave your guests feeling uncomfortable and definitely not at their best when they are all dressed up and supposedly enjoying your special day. The savvy wedding event planner knows that the comfort of your guests should be first and foremost when setting up the venue – this especially applies to such necessities as the portable washroom facilities.

Professional Money Saving Tip

A luxury washroom trailer may actually be a more economical choice due to the number of guests it can service and the amenities it offers as a package deal. The handwashing facilities, lighting, toiletries etc. and decorations are all included.

Tips on Ordering Portable Washrooms for Wedding Planners

Washroom facilities for your event are an absolute necessity and as with all things on your special day; appearance counts. Ensure you allocate sufficient funds for these indispensable facilities in your wedding budget. It is essential to the comfort of every one of your guests that you provide clean, comfortable, easily accessible facilities. It makes good sense to provide the very best washroom facilities your budget can accommodate – consider that luxury washroom trailers may be the way to go for this type of event and may well be the best value for your money.

Balance rental costs and guest numbers to select the number of washroom stalls you require. Too few washroom stalls can create a myriad of problems such as long lineups, upset guests and over-full tanks. If your event extends well into the evening and you are serving alcohol take this into consideration as it will put even more pressure on the facilities.

  • Our King Jon II Trailer will service 200-225 people and our King Jon Elite V will service up to 350 people. As a rule of thumb you will require one stall per every X women and one stall for every X men attending.

Plan out the logistics early:

  • Your venue must have power and water accessible on site or these amenities will need to be brought in as part of the portable toilet setup. You will need water for handwashing stations and power for lighting in and around the washrooms for evening events. Some toilet types also have heating, cooling and circulation fans which will need power to operate.
  • Trailers require 2 standard outlets (120V with 15 amps) on separate circuits, and 2 electrical cords should be set where the trailer will be set up. If a generator will be used it should be at least 5600 watts.
  • The site for your washroom facilities must be flat and level so the toilets or trailer can be securely placed. The location must be easily accessible and conveniently close for your guests – but it does need to be away from the main festivities but still very accessible. Once you have a washroom site selected then you can arrange other areas of your venue accordingly. Ensure that the washrooms will not be a feature in event photos by finding a location that is naturally screened by trees, fences or a building. You could erect a temporary screening fence if necessary.
  • Lighting is very important – guests need to be able to safely navigate the terrain to the washrooms and the interiors must also be well lit and welcoming.
  • The walking path to the facilities needs attention too – you may have to install temporary carpet, tiles or flooring to ensure guests in high heels and those with mobility issues can safely navigate the path to the facilities.

Don’t neglect the opportunity to add decorations and personalize these important facilities – you can add fresh flowers, framed photos, themed items etc. to add a little personalized flair and style.

Assign someone to ensure the washrooms are kept clean and well-stocked with toiletries throughout your event. If you don’t want to ask one of your guests then consider hiring someone for this essential task. Make sure you have plenty of cleaning supplies; extra hand wash or soap, toilet paper and paper towels etc. on hand and give this person the emergency contact information for the rental company as well.

Construction sites in Winnipeg face unique challenges - from harsh weather conditions to strict municipal bylaws and the rising risk of site theft. Whether you are managing a large-scale commercial development in downtown Winnipeg or a residential renovation in Tuxedo, securing your perimeter isn't just a recommendation; it is an operational necessity. In this guide, we break down exactly why temporary fencing is critical for your bottom line and safety record, and how to choose the right solution for your project. What Is Temporary Fencing, And How It Works Temporary fencing, often referred to in the industry as "rent-a-fence" provides a non-permanent, self-supporting perimeter for job sites. Unlike permanent fencing, which requires post holes and concrete footing, often impossible in frozen Manitoba ground, temporary fencing utilizes a modular panel system held together by heavy-duty bases (feet) and clamps. The mechanics of a secure perimeter: Modularity: Panels can be moved and reconfigured as the job site evolves. Stability: High-visibility bases keep the fence upright, while additional wind bracing ensures stability during high-wind events common in the Prairies. Versatility: It serves as a physical barrier, a visual screen, and a liability shield.
